Dates: From 25 December 2026 to 6 January 2027
Applies to: Community of Madrid

These are the Christmas holidays in Madrid for 2026-27: Friday 25 December 2026 (Christmas Day), under Decree 75/2025 (BOCM of 25 September 2025), and Friday 1 January and Wednesday 6 January 2027 (Epiphany, or Reyes), under Decree 82/2026 of the BOCM. All three apply across the Community of Madrid. There are no other holidays in between.

For planning company events, what matters is your office’s real calendar: between Christmas and Epiphany many teams are running at half strength and plenty of people are on holiday. The week of 14 to 18 December may be your last real chance to bring the team together with a good turnout. Before that, the December long weekend (5 to 8 December) also cuts into the diary.

If you are planning a Christmas lunch or drinks reception, fix the date in November, work out the team’s dietary needs and confirm your Christmas catering in good time, because demand peaks in December. For something lighter, an office breakfast first thing in the morning can work well. Get in touch through our contact page.
