FITUR, the International Tourism Trade Fair, runs from Wednesday 20 to Sunday 24 January 2027 at IFEMA MADRID. The official website’s home page cites more than 10,000 exhibiting companies, 155,000 professionals and 100,000 general-public visitors from 161 countries, without saying which edition those figures refer to.

For anyone organising company events in Madrid, FITUR is one of the busiest weeks of the winter: traffic around IFEMA is heavy, hotels fill up well in advance, and restaurants and venues near the fairground take more bookings. If you need accommodation or a venue on those days, book as soon as you can.

If you work in tourism or hospitality, it can be a good time to meet clients. For events at your office, 11 to 15 January or 25 to 29 January give you more room (the first shares IFEMA with Promogift, 12 to 14 January, and Madrid Fusión starts on 1 February).
