The Easter 2027 holidays in Madrid are Holy Thursday (Jueves Santo), 25 March, and Good Friday (Viernes Santo), 26 March. Both are public holidays across the Community of Madrid, under Decree 82/2026 of the BOCM. Easter Monday (29 March) is not on the Madrid list of holidays, so it is a normal working day.

Even so, Holy Week slows things down: many people take the whole week off, so it is best not to schedule large events from Monday 22 to Friday 26 March. And the week before brings the St Joseph’s Day long weekend (Friday 19 March).

If you need a team meeting, a presentation or a client event near those dates, bring it forward to the first half of March or push it back to Monday 29 or later.
